Question #1: What is the metaphor behind the bananafish hole and banana hole/fever? Does it relate to the war and how once in war, the soldiers act barbaric and try to kill as many men (bananas) as possible?
Question #2: Why does Seymour act normal around children and not adults like himself? Does the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from war not affect children because they remain innocent in his mind?
Question #3: Why are feet important to him? Why does he kiss the feet of a child but when an adult even looks at his feet he becomes distraught and upset?
